Center in the Square
Center in the Square is off I-581 downtown at One Market Square. This restored 1914 warehouse is adjacent to Roanoke’s historic farmers’ market. Center houses the following independent cultural organizations: Art Museum of Western Virginia, History Museum & Historical Society of Western Virginia and O. Winston Link Museum, Mill Mountain Theatre, Science Museum of Western Virginia, The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge, Opera Roanoke, Roanoke Ballet.
