Looked for online training in a job that was not administrative and that I thought I would enjoy for the next 20 years before I retire.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My services are provided in my home, by appointment only, as a "one dog at a time" specialty - dogs do not wait in crates for hours before being groomed. I am with the dog from the time it arrives until the grooming process is completed in about 2 hours. I am not concerned with getting as many dogs done as possible, only in provided the best grooming experience for one dog at a time.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only one location at present, with plans to possibly move into a commercial property in the next year or so.

Due to the residential zoning in the location of my business, I am not allowed by the City of Roanoke to have customer traffic to and from my house. Therefore, I arrange for the owner to meet me at a nearby parking lot to transfer care of the dog. This is explained to each customer at their initial call to me.
